Bought unseen by Lucinda in an auction in October 2021 after being in the same family for 40 years. For a long time this was a 'missing' SXF Land-Rover, so it's great that it's now been discovered and added to this list.

Emrys writes for 'Classic Land Rover' magazine, but in the case of the May 2024 issue it was Lucinda who wrote (and provided the pictures for) an item about their shake-down trip to the Isle of Man.

It was ambitious, but forced Emrys to work to a deadline — a great trip, but not without incident... old and hardened windscreen wiper blades do not cope well with storm rain!

Emrys says "For the record, the engine number is 111702807 so likely to be original. Everything seems to match up with appropriate dates on the radiator, voltage regulator and various switches.
