She is on the road and hasn't done a lot as a vicar owned her for a long time and did under 500 miles. But he painted her a horrible blue. I plan to put her back as best as I can to original. She's had a diesel put in but I have the original petrol engine on the bench. I also have the original hood, but as you will imagine it's knackered. I'm going to use her as my main vehicle, I love her so much.
Having said that, advertised for sale in Legend 129:
All original except fitted turbo diesel as I use it every day. New canvas, and there's a hardtop for winter. I have a few spares to go with her, some of them new. She's a lovely little motor.

Now back to Bronze Green and in full tilt. Civil Defence door transfers in the process of being made. Now sporting a 200TDi engine as the gasping 2.5TD previously fitted died. Should be back in daily use any day now, looking as original as possible but with a bit of hidden grunt!

Hello all from sunny Halesowen. This is my daily driver — a 1957 ex Civil Defence soft top with a few slight alterations, all done in a way to hide them as much as possible. 200tdi fitted with td5 intercooler, Ser2 gear box and overdrive, rear winch fitted, late Seer3 109 axles and brakes, parabolic springs

In January 2013 Allen posted a couple of links to the Forum showing 574 at work transporting flight cases for a stand at the Warley National Model Railway Exhibition in the National Exhibition Centre. And, as a special effort, using his winch to move two small (but standard guage) steam locos Alfred and Judy (from the Port of Par Docks Authority) that were a centerpiece of the exhibtion. But although they may be small, they each weighed 17 tons!
