When originally added to the Database (06/02) had V8 and Salisbury rear axle. Was a trialler. Rewired. "Will be restored, but not to concours."
Advertised for sale on LRO Internet Message Board 11/07 "Don't think I am ever going to fix it up, so will sell before she deteriorates too far". Location given as Huntingdon.
In November 2019 Edward Whitten emailed to say:
After years sitting under tarps she has finally moved in to a barn, and stripdown is now complete... so the long rebuild starts now.
I asked for a 'before' photo — he has sent the one above, but admits "To say she ain't good is an understatement but can't afford a new chassis and bulkhead so I have a lot of fabricating and welding to do". Don't worry, Edward... you'll feel all the more proud at the end of it, and we look forward to seeing revised pictures!
