SXF689 before re-registration and re-paint
Early records show as owned by Simon Partridge, Beverley, East Yorkshire.
Now reg SSL436. New entry, Legend 108.
Paul Williamson reported (5/11):
I believe that the above now resides in Southport as a soft top and is painted blue.
Number reported in 'Full Grille' (LR Register mag, Spring 05) on a Brockhouse trailer that had surfaced for sale in Cumbria.
Dale Turrell reported (3/12) that the original SXF689 number was then on a Ford Focus based in Driffield, East Yorkshire.
He later said (12/14):
I bought 689 from Mrs Maraid Tonge of Sunnyside near Driffield on 17th August 2000 for the sum of £900. It had no MOT and had stood in her paddock unused for about a year after she moved from Aberdeen, bringing 689 with her on a trailer. I then swopped 689 on 22nd May 2001 with Simon Partridge from Beverley — a straight swop for a 1979 Laverda Lota motorcycle. I got 689 through MOT and fitted a new master cylinder. It was a soft top and green in colour. I transferred the number and was reallocated the SSL reg by the LVLO in Beverley. I still have the original number plates. The registration number is still owned by my mother, and now is on a bronze VW Golf in Driffield.
SXF689 on the Ford Focus.
