Vehicle sold on eBay 2011 from Drybrook in Gloucestershire. Closing bid was £2245. Description was:
Land Rover Series one 88", 1958 2.0 petrol. Rare SXF registration. Barn-stored last 6 years with the view to restore. Runs and drives. New fuel tank, stainless steel exhaust, chassis in good order but does need some work. Easy restoration.

The purchaser was George, an ex-Land Rover apprentice then living in Bristol, who wanted a Land-Rover born in the same year as he was. In Spring 2015 he sold the vehicle on to a fellow ex-apprentice (who still works within the Land Rover organisation). Matt Fulbrook lives in Solihull, so now 721 (nicknamed 'Agnes') has returned to within 3 miles of Lode Lane. Matt has also acquired a very early Brockhouse trialer — allegedly the earliest surviving example — to go with 'Agnes'.

On January 29th 2016, as the last 'traditional' UK-built Land Rover came off the end of the Lode Lane production line, Land Rover employees with their own Series and Defender vehicles were encouraged to bring them to work for a car park display. When Matt put SXF721 forward, he was invited to bring it inside the atrium of the JLR Headquarters building at Whitley as part of a special display.
Matt said:
She attracted lots of attention and people were pleased that they could actually touch her rather than admire from a distance. It was a very emotional day. I feel privileged to have worked closely with Defender in the mid 90s and even more so to have my SXF.
Matt's been given permission to have a commemorative plaque made for Agnes to mark the occasion.

I understand from other sources that Matt sold Agnes to buy a Harley Davidson in 2017.
