Just for your info, I have the bulkhead off SXF739 attached to my '57 88" Reg No. 894MRF. I don't know when this was aquired and fitted, but MRF has been in my family for the past 12 years or so. I guess it was removed from 739 in the very early 1990's. I bought it off a bloke who lived near Tarporley Cheshire.
Chester Fire Brigade also had SXF??? I drove it many times. It was their Road Accident Vehicle and was transferred to Cheshire FB in 1974. A photo must surely exist somewhere! It was eventually sold at auction along with the only other Series One remaining in Cheshire FB (Ex Warrington FB. Reg No. 6 BMA – a 107 or 109 truck cab) about 1976.
