Current Owner: Daniel Powell, Cornwall
Previous Owner(s): 4 (recorded)
New to the Database in July 2017, making it the 225th record (although I did have a note of it being seen at Easter 2004 in Pwllheli in Gwynedd — it was described then as an orange soft-top, which rather qualifies what I've written below).
For sale July 2017 at Agricultural & Cross Country Vehicles Ltd via eBay. Sellers description was:
Very complete with many original features and fittings. Straight body work. Fitted with Series later 2.25 petrol (not running). The chassis is solid, the bulkhead is beyond repair but we do have a good bulkhead available imported from Australia.
I can't be sure from the pictures if the hardtop is original Home Office — the side windows don't look long enough to be the Export Hard Top configuration, and they (and the rear windows) could be a retro fitting in a hardtop from a different vehicle. I can't see any obvious signs of holes in either the hardtop or the tub which would have been the position of the CD station boards.
In August I was told that Daniel Powell was the new owner.
